Tony Gee


Tony Gee is a Teller of Tales, a puppeteer, performer, college lecturer, workshop leader, trainer and author of two books on Workshop. He is founder and artistic director of The Moveable Feast Workshop Company and Far&Wide Puppets. He has written many plays for children - and even more plays with children! - including the Guinness world record Biggest Puppet Show on Earth with nearly 500 puppeteers!

He won the award of Street Entertainer of the Year in Totnes in 1994, helped create a community carnival in Derry in 1998 and his most recent article (All Roads Lead to Ermo) was listed within the Editors’ Choice of articles for the Resurgence Trust’s e-magazine (see www.resurgence.org/selection/gee0807.htm).

THE Moveable Feast Workshop Company is a collective of over 20 artists who collaborate to create cross-art form workshops for just about any situation and consists of visual artists, performers, musicians, puppeteers, photographers, video artists and digital artists, writers and dancers who collaborate to create expansive, imaginative and innovative workshop experiences (see www.themoveablefeast.co.uk).
