All training and presentations are delivered in a fully interactive way to groups of up to 35 participants, and in a semi-interactive way to groups in a conference/lecture-type setting for any number greater than that! By ‘interactive’, we mean the opportunity to think and learn across a wide spectrum of learning styles; participation
is always voluntary, and never involves role-play.
Training will usually involve a minimum of two facilitators (Mike Beard & Sean Flynn – two for the price of one!). For larger events where additional workshops, facilities and opportunities are required (or where there is a requirement for additional specialist expertise), other REM State associates will be involved (at additional cost).
Costs for training will depend to an extent on the individual situation, and will increase in exceptional situations (where distances involved for travel incur more than one overnight stay, for example). Discounted rates are also available for multiple bookings, etc. Costs of training for 2008 are based upon the following:
• Half day - from £685.00 (ex. VAT). For events outside of Devon, this half-day rate represents the minimum charge irrespective of the length of the training/presentation session required. For events a very long way from home, the full day rate may be payable
• Full day – costs range from £985.00 to £1,385.00 per day (ex. VAT), dependent on a number of factors including number of participants and resources required; please contact us for further details
Please contact us to discuss costs for conference presentations, lectures, ‘twilight’ INSET sessions and keynote speeches etc. We are genuinely interested in participating in new areas of work, and are happy to negotiate.
Please note: Costs do not include provision of training venue, lunch or refreshments, although do include all presentation notes and handouts. Travel expenses are charged in addition to the above training fees (air, rail & taxi fares, or car travel @ 45p per mile; overnight accommodation where applicable). We are ‘low maintenance’ in terms of travel needs, and make every effort to keep these additional costs to a minimum!
