We offer effective - and brief - therapeutic interventions for individuals and families using a variety of up-to-date, research-based and solution-oriented techniques. Therapeutic help is based on the human givens approach to therapy, a ‘needs’ and ‘resources’ based model of therapeutic intervention; see www.humangivens.com and click here for more details of this approach.
Therapeutic interventions and services are available to treat a broad range of mental and emotional health issues. For more details of all that we can help with, please click here.
Therapeutic services are available to individuals and families from a practice base in Exeter (see: www.hgi.org.uk/register/Therapists/Mike-BeardSW.htm), and can be purchased for delivery in other clinical and educational settings across the country (NHS Independent Provider Code 8GQ58).
We offer training and development services throughout the UK - and overseas! We work with professionals and organisations involved in mental and physical healthcare, social work, education, industrial relations and diplomacy to incorporate good therapeutic practice and techniques within their existing roles and better enable positive learning.
We also offer expertise and consultancy in developing ‘organisational health’ at a strategic level within organisations and governance structures. This involves the development of organisational practice and policy to improve mental health, promote emotional health and well-being, and impact positively on productivity and staff recruitment, retention and progression.
